BlueberriesThis coming year we will have 5 varieties of northern highbush blueberries.
Elliott is a late season blueberry with a medium size berry. zones 4-7 Patriot is a large early season blueberry. Zones 3-7 Pink Popcorn is mid season with creamy white and pink berries. Zones 1-7 Toro is a mid season blueberry with clusters of large berries. Zone 4-9 Pink Lemonade produces a smaller pink berry in early spring. Zones 4-8 BlackberriesBlackberry plants are know for being invasive and painful. We offer thornless varieties to make the experience more enjoyable.
Ouachita is a large sweet blackberry with an upright habit. Great for along fences. Zones 5-9 (propagated on site, so available per request) Triple Crown is know for its large berries and long production time (5 weeks). Zones 5-9 Black Satin produces extra large berries. Zones 5-9 |
GooseberriesGooseberries are amazing gems that taste like a cross between a grape and blueberry. The bush does have thorns, but the berry is well worth it. Gooseberries are also hardy down to -40 degrees F and self pollinating.We have Red George available now and this coming year we will have 2 more varieties.
Red George is a ukrainiane variety that produces dark red berries in July. Captivator is an American/European version with dark red berries. Semi Thornless. Zones 3-9 Pixwell produces smaill to medium pink berries. Semi thornless Zones 3-8 |
ElderberriesElderberries are a large shrub, getting to about 8ft tall. They produces clusters of berries that are high in antioxidants. Two plants are needed for pollination. We have Korsor and Haschberg in Stock. Nova and York will be coming this Winter.
Korsor is a european black elderberry that is bred for production. It produces large cluster of black berries that are great for juicing. Zones 2-7 Haschberg is another large producer. Zones 5-9 Nova and York Elderberries are both hardy plants that produce large clusters of black berries. Zones 4-10 |
